Personal details taken from clients on-line or during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion like to send you details of open evenings and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know.

Cancellation Policy

This is not something we want to have to enforce, but is a necessary evil of doing business.

We ask you to give us at least 72hrs notice which will give us the best possible chance to fill the appointment with another client. Your deposit is non refundable or transferable after the 72hr deadline has passed so make sure to call us 016293900 to either cancel or reschedule. We truly hope that you understand the reason behind this policy & if you have any questions, please call one of the team who will only be delighted to assist you.

Price Increase

Revenue in their wisdom plans to increase our VAT at the end of February, but our industry are fighting against this. So we are holding off with our price increase until we know what is happening.

We will, due to many other cost increases, have no choice but to increase our prices on the 1st March 2023.

However, we are offering Tiered pricing, so a little like Pick n Mix, you will be able to choose different Creatives to look after you. For example book our Creative Colour Director for your colour service paying the top price & want to book one of our very capable Junior Creatives for your blowdry at a lower price level, that is possible.


We want to be able to offer you different services at different price levels & we will work with you to book your appointment should you need any guidance. Also please go over to our Meet the Team page to read all about our fabulous Creatives.

Deposit Policy

Why do you need to pay a deposit?

All new clients to the salon will be asked to pay a 50% deposit.

Existing clients will only be asked to pay a deposit if they have previously not cancelled/rescheduled 72hrs in advance of their appointment or not shown up.

Purchase of Retail Products

All products must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 5 years from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date.. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. The voucher handed to the receptionist at the start of your service. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.

Price Alteration

We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.

Smoking

Please note that it is illegal to smoke anywhere in the Salon.

Medical Conditions

Please inform your creative of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some services may not be appropriate for you.

Children

Please understand that we cannot accommodate children under 13 unless supervised by an adult during your treatment.

Payment

Cash payments and most credit and debit cards are accepted. All prices include value added tax at a current rate.

Patch Testing

Patch testing is required for Hair colouring services 48hrs prior to your first appointment, or if you have not visited or had Hair Colour in the last 6 months. Also it is necessary to have a new skin allergy alert test if you have had Covid-19 or coloured your hair at home yourself since your last visit to our salon.

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Return / Refund

If you are not 100% completely satisfied with our product(s) or service, please contact us and we’ll do everything we can to put things right. Please note we never want anyone to be unhappy but refunds are discretionary and are issued on a case by case basis.

Liability Waiver

A small percentage of individuals can experience adverse reactions due to the application of hair colour. While rare, symptoms can include burning, redness, itching and/or swelling. Due to the variety of ingredients used in these products, these symptoms may occur even if you have had the service in the past with no reaction. OB-1 Hair can administer a “patch test” to determine if you will experience a reaction. This test must be administered 48 hours prior to your appointment. You have the right to request a patch test prior to every service at no additional charge to you. By accepting this you have agreed that you will arrange the appropriate tests for you.
